Why are we called Day Two? Because on the second day God created water and then the kayak fun really started!
We manufacture quality handmade kayak and watersports gear in New Zealand. We are New Zealand’s leading kayak clothing brand and all our gear is designed and made by paddlers for paddlers. We manufacture buoyancy vests, sprayskirts or spraydecks and waterproof jackets as well as selling Kokatat (dry tops, suits, rescue vests and paddle jackets), Vajda (slalom kayaks) and Double Dutch (slalom paddles).
The company is run by Andy Fuller who has over 30 years of worldwide kayak experience and 25 years in the industry. Andy was the 2009 World Masters slalom champion has over 20 NZ slalom titles from 1997 to 2011 as well as being national down river champion in sprint, NZ raft champion and double world champs medallist, national slalom coach and an accomplished multisport competitor.
The company is based close to the Kaituna river for our product testing regime.
We offer exceptional support to our customers and retail shops and supply some of the best brands in the World. We use premium neoprene in our sprayskirts and safety is paramount in the production of our buoyancy vests. We recycle as much waste material as possible and proudly support the volunteer organisations that run New Zealand kayaking and keep our rivers free flowing.
We have now installed Solar power to run our production in NZ and keep the rivers flowing free.
Our neoprene is made as greenly as possible. We use Limestone neoprene and recycled tyres in the neoprene production and recycle as much neoprene waste as possible.
